Peter Davies
SCA (VIC) Director
Peter was formerly the State Manager Victoria at Victoria Body Corporate Services (VBCS) which is part of the Smarter Communities group. He oversaw operations and the strata management responsibilities through the team at VBCS, which manages in excess of 33,000 lots.
Peter is a recognised Certified Practising Strata Manager, having completed the Certificate IV in Community Management through RMIT and has been in the strata industry since 2001 with his prior role of just under 15 years being as Associate Director at Dixon Kestles in South Melbourne.
Holding the qualification of Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), an international recognition and being a member of the SCA Training team, Peter assists in the delivery of training to the strata community and those interested in the strata community, and shows his passion and commitment to the professionalism of the industry as a whole.
The SCAV Board (Board) is committed to the preservation of membership confidence, the professionalisation of the Strata industry and the delivery of the highest standard of ethical practice. The Board has adopted a new Professional Governance Framework (PGF), which includes a revised Board Charter, Board Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest Policy, and Privacy and Confidentially Policy. To reinforce their commitment to the PGF, each Board Member has signed a Duties & Responsibilities of Board Members statement and a Register of Interest declaration.
