SCA (Vic) President Gregor Evans joined Rafael Epstein on ABC Radio Melbourne’s Drive Program early last week, to discuss the Victorian Government's QR code sign ins and record keeping requirements in apartments, townhouses and other strata complexes.Ambiguities in official guidance received by SCA (Vic) in relation to the scope and application of COVIDSafe plans and electronic record keeping by Owners Corporations were identified, and these have since become the subject of focused advocacy and liaison with the government.

SCA (Vic) have been hard at work to keep up with COVIDSafe regulations, with the ultimate goal of keeping people safe, including trades and visitors to sites.
We have sought clarification on future COVIDSafe protocols for Strata, and will continue to maintain regular communication with the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions (DJPR) and other agencies to this end.
