After enduring so many lockdowns, what an exciting time for Victorians to finally have freedom and some normality in our lives. Whether that is catching up with family, friends, visiting regional Victoria or going to your favourite restaurant. Through all this SCA (Vic) Education has remained focused in providing education our members.
Training & Education:
Everything you need to know about the changes in the OC ACT, 2021 is now in one area on our site. We have included recordings from past events, such as Insurance, Planning & Funding long-term Building Maintenance, Procuring Services on Behalf of OC’s and Abandoned Goods.
As mentioned in the last newsletter a pre-recorded session is also in this area by Andrew Whitelaw which captures the key changes of the Act. Our last event concerning the changes in the Act will be included in this space as well as an excellent handout. Education Event:
Last Friday, SCA (Vic) had the largest attendance for our Education Event: 15 Key points you Need to Know about the OC Act 2021. Our panel of experts discussed the main changes to the Act. We would like to thank our speakers Gold Sponsor and Sponsor of the event, Andrew Whitelaw, Director, Whitelaw Lawyers. A valuable session that clarified areas if the Act and built on members learnings.
