Michelle Cummins
SCA (VIC) Director
Michelle has worked in the strata industry for over 30 years.
She is now working for a supplier and wears many hats in her role as Chief People & Client Support Officer for MaxSoft Group, a leading software provider to the strata industry.
Michelle has worked in all aspects of strata - from accounts, to strata assistant to strata manager, is currently a Director of Strata Community Australasia (SCA) National and chairs the Professional Standards and Research & Development Committee and Co-Chairs the education committee. She has also been a subject matter expert to CAMICB exam development committee for 7+ years.
Above all, she is passionate about education and believes in raising the bar across industry. In 2020-2021, Michelle was the recipient of the SCA President's Award for her work in education.
The SCAV Board (Board) is committed to the preservation of membership confidence, the professionalisation of the Strata industry and the delivery of the highest standard of ethical practice. The Board has adopted a new Professional Governance Framework (PGF), which includes a revised Board Charter, Board Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest Policy, and Privacy and Confidentially Policy. To reinforce their commitment to the PGF, each Board Member has signed a Duties & Responsibilities of Board Members statement and a Register of Interest declaration.
