Allison Benson
Allison is a strata & community titles lawyer who has provided general advice, acted in disputes, including building defect disputes, and worked with clients in preparing and enforcing by-laws and strata management statements since 2008.
From 2012, Allison has acted exclusively to provide advice and act in strata and community association disputes and building and construction disputes in these schemes.

Andrew Bond is the Manager for CHU Inspect, an experienced construction management professional. Experienced in several business start-ups and new business ventures. Andrew has a passion for technology and innovation to drive efficiency and environmental outcomes. Andrew is committed to pushing boundaries, driving holistic outcomes and shaping the future through innovation.
Daniel Borin
With over two decades of experience, Daniel has a dynamic background that includes entrepreneurial ventures in Hong Kong, China, and the Philippines. After graduating from Monash University with a Bachelor of Business in Marketing, he worked in IT sales and consulting with companies like Hewlett Packard and EMC in Australia. In 2009, Daniel returned to Australia to join the family business as Director of Sales and Marketing, driving significant growth.
Now, as Director of Client Success, he partners closely with clients to help them succeed, ensuring MaxSoft delivers exceptional value and service.
John Botha
John Botha is a Director at Highrise Strata Management and current sitting board member of SCA (Vic). Advocating for honesty, teamwork and exceptional service, he leads by example through facilitating a culture of psychological safety and empowerment within his diverse team. With a distinguished career in Strata nearing 17 years, he lays claim to SCA award wins in 5 different categories at state level and one national. Actively involved in industry improvement, John contributes through speaking engagements and participation in sub-committees, including serving as inaugural president of the young strata subcommittee. His strategic focus on organic growth and customer service excellence underpins his ethical stance against conflicts of interest, emphasising actions that value-add rather than exploit. John's leadership not only drives Highrise’s success but also nurtures a supportive and inclusive workplace environment.
Andrew Chambers
Andrew Chambers has been involved in the strata management industry for 30 years. He is currently the Managing Director of his own business Chambers Franklyn Strata Management. Since 2002 he has held a number of positions with SCA , he is currently the President of SCAWA having held the position on two previous occasions. He served on the national board from 2015 to 2021 and as National President from 2018 to 2021. He is passionate about the Strata industry and actively involved in promoting strata management to others and in mentoring those new to the industry.

VJ Chhagan
Vj is a seasoned Owners Corporation Executive with over 15 years of expertise in strata management, learning, and development. He is a Class 1 licensed Owners Corporation Manager and holds multiple certifications, including CSCE, CMCA, A100, M100, Cert IV Owners Corporation Management and Diploma of Property (Agency Management). As the General Manager at SOCM, Vj leads a team managing large-scale, complex Owner Corporations. He is also a certified trainer, delivering Certificate IV in Owners Corporation Management to uplift industry standards.
With a rich background in IT, business, and real estate, Vj excels in team leadership, training development, and driving organizational success.

Alisha Fisher
Alisha has been with SCA for 6 years and came to SCA with a wealth of experience as a CEO having worked in the not for profit sector for over 20 years. She is well qualified having completed her MBA and the Company Directors Course with the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Alisha’s time collaborating with and working in Government departments is invaluable for SCA.
Tim Graham
Tim has been practising for over 25 years. He is one of Australia's pre-eminent strata lawyers. He is President of SCA (Vic) and an Honorary Life Fellow. He is President of the Australian College of Strata Lawyers (ACSL) and a Fellow of the College. He sits on the Property Law Committee of the Law Institute of Victoria. Tim has been selected in Best Lawyers in Australia nine (9) times consecutively.
Tim has been recognised in Doyle's Guide as: Leading Property Lawyer, Leading Litigation Lawyer. Tim is published regularly in the Australian Property Law Bulletin and has been a member of the bulletin's Editorial Panel for thirteen (13) years. He authored the Owners Corporations chapter of the Lawyers' Practice Manual and wrote the case study update for the looseleaf service Subdivisions with the Lot.
Kristi Kinast
Kristi Kinast is the General Manager of Cassels Strata Management and also serves as a Director on the Board of Strata Communities Association (Queensland). Kristi has worked in the strata industry for close to two decades and is well-versed in the complexities and intricacies of body corporate management.
She has extensive experience in leading teams in and outside of the strata industry and has a passion for developing teams and individuals to provide professional, outstanding service.

Grant is the managing partner of Archers Sunshine Coast Region and past Vice President of SCA QLD.
He is also the founding director of Archers community newsletter and education platform Smartstrata.com. which has over 55,000 subscribers and growing.
His industry contributions have made Smart Strata’s newsletter the most read in Queensland and regularly presents community education seminars attracting over 1,000 attendees annually across Archers six locations they service.
Grant continues to remain current with day to day management of select strata schemes in addition to his regional manager duties and is the groups mixed use and layered scheme specialist.

With 15 years of teaching experience in Australia, the USA, and Germany, and a decade of captivating audiences as a speaker, trainer, and MC, Sam expertly blends education with entertainment. He excels in planning and delivering events, driving professional development, and ensuring audiences are entertained. Sam’s energetic approach leaves a lasting impact on every event he leads.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Bernard Salt
Bernard Salt AM is widely regarded as one of Australia’s leading social commentators, writers and thinkers. For more than 20 years he has been a popular choice on the Australian corporate speaking circuit. His views on the implications of demographic and social change are regularly by business, government and the media.
Bernard heads The Demographics Group which provides specialist advice on demographic, consumer and social trends for business. Prior to that he founded KPMG Demographics In Australia.
He was an adjunct professor at Curtin University Business School between 2010 and 2020 and he holds a Master of Arts degree from Monash University. Bernard was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in 2017.
Andrea Stevens
With an honours degree in architecture and over 20 years’ experience in the property industry – from architectural practice, to residential project developments, to more recent years as a senior strata manager and team leader – Andrea brings extensive industry knowledge and customer service experience to her role at SCA Vic. Andrea’s intuitive understanding of differing client needs, a logical approach, and an attention to detail, are the keys to her success.
She is excited to share her strata management experience and insights with the SCA Vic team and to engage with members and stakeholders towards improved satisfaction, professionalism, and public awareness of the strata industry.
Andrew Whitelaw
Andrew Whitelaw is a founding director of Whitelaw Flynn Lawyers and leads the Building and Construction / Owners Corporation team. Having practised in the areas of building and construction law and in Owners Corporation legal matters for over 25 years, he is recognised as a specialist in Owners Corporation issues and in domestic and commercial construction disputes. Andrew advises Owners Corporations, builders, developers, owners and construction industry professionals. He is a Past President, Vice President and Secretary of the Building Disputes Practitioners' Society and a selected member of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Domestic Building List Users’ Group. He provides legal advice to peak industry bodies and their members, including the SCA (Vic). As an Honorary Life Member of the SCA he is otherwise well known to SCA members, having presented at numerous SCA events over many years on a wide range of issues.
